Gifi Topics

This page lists a number of topics that are suitable for dissertation-size projects. It also provides brief descriptions and references. These are usually topics which are only briefly mentioned in Gifi, or scattered throughout the literature, or not researched completely. I am willing, in principle, to provide more information to those people who are interested in one of these topics. A green bullet means there is some explanatory material behind the link, a red bullet means nothing is there yet. A name means that one of our students is working on this topic.
