I put in the Finals comment section your total points after dropping the lowest midterm and lowest homework. This way everybody has the same point base they are working from. You can see where you stand in comparison to the class--the approximate grade distributions are given below. But remember, this only gives you a gross sense of how you are doing in the class. Some will end up dropping the midterm portion of the final and not one of the two initial midterms. So what you see here is not a guarantee of anything, just a brief picture before finals week.

Here is a different way of seeing how you are doing. Here, all I did was sum up all the points everyone has accumulated up through homework #9 (excluding the handful of students who did not take both midterms for extenuating circumstances and dropping your lowest homework).

Look below. The left column is the total number of points accumulated (add up both your midterms using the adjusted score, not the actual score for Midterm 2, and your homework). The right column is the corresponding class percentile ranking. This too is inexact. For some students it will show you a higher rank than the other method. For some a lower rank. But as long as each individual gets to drop two things, and the last one occurs during the final, it is hard to know precisely where one is in the distribution. The two ranks should be fairly close.  Remember, the new class curve for grades is approximately the 0.66-1.00 are in the A's, 0.33-0.65 are in the B's, and 0.05-0.32 are in the C's.
