Understanding how you did is now a little more complex.
The score shown is adjusted so that the points for the second midterm have the same value as the points for the first midterm.
Under comments, I show your actual score and your percentile rank on the exam. Remember, the top 26% or so are in the A's, etc., if I were to assign a grade. Under FINAL there is a comment that shows your current class percentile rank to give you a sense of how you are doing after several homeworks and 2 midterms--but remember, everyone gets to drop lowest things so these rankings are very gross, very general.
(what did I do to create an adjusted score? I converted your Midterm 2 score to a z-score, and then said, if Midterm 2 had had the same mean and the same Standard Deviation as Midterm 1 what would your score be? That way the two exams are equated for the class performance, an indirect measure of how difficult the exams were for the whole class. This is so when I drop the exam score you did the worst on, I will be actually dropping the exam where your performance was the worst relative to the rest of the class while controlling statistically for the differences in how hard the exams are.)
