Almost lost to history: Here's a rare bust of the not-so-famous-but-nonetheless-important ancient historical Greek, Mikanosili "Tex" Papadopolous.
"Tex", as he was known to his buds, is recorded as having told Phidippides, "hey, bro, come on, it's twenty-five miles to Athens, you'll never make it. Have a beer, they'll find out eventually." Of course, Phidippides made the legendary run from Marathon to Athens anyway, despite Tex.
