UCLA STAT 251 (section 1) Winter 2003

Basis for Final Grade:
• 60% Project assignments
• 10% Attendance and Participation
• 30% Final Exam/Paper

Grading Policy:
All Project assignments must be completed by the corresponding deadline. No late assignments will be accepted. For students with genuine documented reasons for missing a deadline arrangements will be made.

If after receiving the graded papers back you believe a grading error has occurred please see Dr. Dinov or your TA within a week of the date the papers are returned.

Reading assignments will be given form the text and outside resources. You will be held responsible for the information covered in these assignments, as well as, reading the additional information the Instructor places on the course web-page ( www.stat.ucla.edu/~dinov/courses_students.html). Lecture attendance may be recorded from time to time to ensure active participation in the class.
