Air Pollution Data and Principal Components

The data given in the following table represent 42 measurements on air pollution variables recorded at 12:00 noon in the Los Angeles area on different days.

The dataset appears in Table 1.3 of Applied Multivariate Statistical Analysis (4th ed.) by Johnson, R.A. and Wichern, D.W. (1998), published by Prentice Hall.
