The DAE conference series grew out of a conference that was held
in 2000 at The Ohio State University. While this initial
conference concentrated on the Midwest, subsequent conferences
became truly international in terms of participants and expanded
to North America in terms of locations. The latter have included
Vancouver, BC (2002), Chicago, IL (2003), Santa Fe, NM (2005),
Memphis, TN (2007), Columbia, MO (2009), Athens, GA (DAE 2012) and
Cary, NC (DAE 2015).
DAE 2017 is the ninth event in the DAE conference series. It will
focus on emerging areas of research in experimental design, as
well as novel innovations in traditional areas. A salient feature
of the DAE series is pairing of senior and junior researchers for
mentoring purposes and DAE 2017 at UCLA will follow this
tradition. Following past meetings, there will be 10 invited
sessions, each with 3 speakers. Each session has 90 minutes. There
will be two poster sessions and opportunities for you to lead or
participate in roundtable discussions as well. Travel
support may be available for students and junior researchers who
received their doctorate degrees after 2012.
The deadline for submission of abstracts and requests for travel support is
June 30, 2017.
