2013 Call for Papers
The 20th ASA/IMS Spring
Research Conference (SRC 2013) on Statistics in Industry
and Technology will be held on UCLA
campus, June 20-22, 2013.
The
aim of the SRC conference is to promote cross-disciplinary research
in
statistical methods in engineering, science and technology. This is
to
be interpreted broadly to cover a wide range of application areas
including biotechnology, information, manufacturing sciences and
environment. Keynote Speakers for SRC 2013 include John Sall
(SAS), Dennis Cook
(University of Minnesota), and Xiaoli Meng (Harvard
University).
To present a contributed talk or poster, please email a title and
abstract,
including your name and affiliation, to src2013@stat.ucla.edu, using
"SRC abstract" as the
subject. The deadline for abstract submission is March 15, 2013.
Please note that if there are many contributed talk abstracts, the
organizers reserve the right to move some submissions to poster
sessions.
A number of student scholarships will be provided to selected
students
who submit contributed papers. Please visit the

instructions. Deadline for scholarship application is March 15, 2013.
The papers presented at SRC are eligible for inclusion in the
American Statistical Association
2013 Proceedings of the Section on Physical and Engineering
Sciences.
