about me (boring)

I'm a third year Ph.D. student in the department of statistics at UCLA.  I'm originally from Elyria, OH (outside Cleveland) and graduated in 2004 from Wellesley College (outside Boston) where I majored in Math and minored in Economics.

After undergrad, I worked in economic consulting for two years in New York City and one year in Los Angeles before returning to graduate school.
