Stats 10, Lecture 2
Gould
Welcome to Stats 10. This class is not about memorizing
numbers or formulas. It's about a way to think about the world. Yes,
you'll see lots of numbers, but not too many formulas. You might
find some parts of this class easy. I know you'll find some parts
hard. My advice to you:
(1) Read the assigned chapter of the book before coming to class.
(2) Ask questions. If you're too shy to speak up in class, come
to office hours. The TAs and I are here to help you learn.

Office Hours: Monday 1:30 - 2:30, Wednesday 3-4, or by

To make an appointment, email me with several possible
times. I cannot promise that we will always find a mutually agreeable
time, and so you should first make every effort to attend office hours.
