In this part of the project, I tested how strong I was in bench pressing. The x-variable in this case is the amount of weight I placed on the bar and the y-variable is the amount of times I could lift (bench press) that weight on the bar. The testing was conducted at the Wooden Center on a Monday morning at 6:45 am. There was a two minute rest period between each set. One occurrence must be made cleared - my ability to lift was also affected by my endurance as I got tired and weaker after each set. The following is the data:
