1.Contollable Study:
I have been gradually collecting data on a specific elevator, Math Sciences Building elevator #045932 (the one on the left), in order to study the relationship between time of day and the number of people that were riding the elevator.  The time intervals were approx 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm.  I was planning on having the controlled variable be the time of day and the dependent variable to be the amount of people that were riding the elevator at that time. I have recorded the time of day and below it is the number of people riding the elevator at that time. The cells that have an asterisk (*) in them are the times that no data was collected. For example, looking at the first row and first column we see the variable 10.:00 am and underneath it in the second row and first column we see the number 2. This indicates that at 10:00am there were 2 people riding the elevator. Another important note is that all observations included me as a passenger.
