HOMEWORK GUIDE
Please remember that the reader has to go through vast stacks of
homework every week as quickly as possible. To make this easier,
there are some guidelines to follow. The reader is allowed to
mark your score as a 0 if he or she can't find the needed information.
- Your pages should be stapled!!! Paperclips, tape, or folds won't do.
- The upper right corner should contain, in this order:
- Your full name
- Your student ID
- The date the homework is due
- Your section number.
Many students forget or never learn their discussion section number, so
make sure you know what it is before turning in your homework. Without it,
the reader won't be able to give you credit.
- Clearly number the problems, using the number in the book. For
example, use 1.58, and not just 58.
- Do the problems in the order assigned. The reader won't have time
to go looking for them and will assume they are missing if they
are out of order.
- Write clearly. Circle your answer. This is important if you are
to get credit for the problem.
