Daggett Air Pressure is a measure that local meteorologists use to help study the weather.  It is the difference in air pressure between Daggett Air Force Base (out in the desert), and Los Angeles.  The Daggett Pressure can be positive or negative.  Positive means that the air pressure is greater at Dagget, which means that the general direction of the wind is from LA to Daggett.  Or the Pressure can be negative, which means that the general wind is blowing from Daggett to LA.  The bigger the Daggett Pressure in absolute value (so big positive values or big negative values), the stronger the wind is blowing.   Now many scientists are interested in understanding the relationship between ozone -- a pollutant -- and various atmospheric conditions.  It is believed that ozone will be lower in LA when the wind is blowing, and the stronger the wind, the lower the ozone.  (Because the wind blows the ozone out of LA.)  Therefore, a group of scientists collect the Daggett Air Pressure readings and the ozone readings every day for several years.  They are surprised that the correlation between Daggett Pressure and ozone levels is nearly zero.  Can you conclude that there is no relation between ozone and Daggett Pressure?  Why or why not?
