Outdoor Scene Attribute (SceneAtt) Dataset

Introduction
The Outdoor Scene Attribute (SceneAtt) dateset is used for studying shared attribute appearance models, and scene spatial configurations. The dataset (1226 images of 256*256 pixels in size) is selected from LabelMe Outdoor Scene dataset [1] and SUN Attribute dataset [2] . To tolerate more objects (e.g., wild animals), we also add some images collected from Google images and Flickr. And we got 12 scene categories in total: ocean, open country, street, tower, wild animals (horse, ibis, elephant, bison), waterfall, inside city, high way, moutain. Text descriptions were created by one author to ensure consistency. Finally, we obtain an attribute set which contains 17 noun attributes and 30 noun+adjective attribute pairs (see below). Each image has about 3-5 noun-adjective pairs. And for each noun-adjective pair, the average image number is 96.
