There were 3 forms, there were no differences in the average scores between forms.

All in all, as a class, you did a terrific job. No single problem caused a lot of trouble, but very few people got every single one right. As you can see from the distribution (on back) most people did quite well.

How to think about your grade on the second midterm:

"A grade" 54-60

"B grade" 42-53

"C grade" 30-41

below 30 is a "did not pass"

How to think about your grade up to now from the total of the first and second midterms (this is not counting homework):

"probably an A" 88-96

"probably an A-" 83-87

"probably a B+" 78-82

"probably a B" 68-77

"probably a B-" 66-67

"probably a C+" 62-65

"probably a C" 49-61

below 49 is a "probably will not pass"
