All in all, as a class, you did well. No single problem caused a lot of trouble. The difference between and "A" and a "B" was a matter of details and the strength of your understanding of statistics. The difference between a "B" and a "C" was one of "basically understand the material" versus "do not understand the material/flawed understanding".
How to think about your grade on the second midterm:
"A grade" 66-75
"B grade" 50-65
"C grade" 40-49
below 40 is a "did not pass"
How to think about your grade at this point from the total of the first and second midterms (this is not counting homework or labs and the midterms together are worth 40% of your final grade):
"probably an A" 108-120
"probably an A-" 102-107
"probably a B+" 99-101
"probably a B" 90-98
"probably a B-" 85-89
"probably a C+" 80-84
"probably a C" 61-79
below 61 is a "probably will not pass". Please make an effort to see me or talk to your TA if you are not passing the course.
