About MeHi, I am a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at UCLA, advised by Prof. Xiaowu Dai. Before joining UCLA, I received my B.S. in Mathematics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am a member of the Lab for Statistics, Computing, Algorithms, Learning, and Economics (SCALE) at UCLA. My research focuses on machine learning and mechanism design for large-scale online platforms, with applications to advertising systems, marketplaces, reinforcement learning, and large language models. My recent work studies auto-bidding algorithms, auction design under uncertainty, experience replay methods in reinforcement learning, and game-theoretic problems in LLM systems. 🚀 Open to full-time opportunities in Applied Science, Machine Learning, and AI research for 2027. Feel free to reach out for my CV. Research Interests
