Labs
Lab assignments are small data analysis projects to give you practice and experience applying the concepts discussed in class. They can be done on your own computer, using any software that you wish, but I will assume that you are using Arc.
If you wish, you can use the computers in the Science Learning Center, 4th floor of Young Hall, South-East wing. This computer lab has its drop-in hours posted. You will also be able to find the TA there at least one hour per week. I can't tell you precisely which room numbers because they have a series of labs and precisely which will be open changes depending on demand. You need to check the posted hours for availability. The lab assistants in the lab can help you to use the computers, but do not know how to use the software.
Logging on for the First Time: Your username is most likely the first initial of your first name followed by your last name. Your password is your student ID number. If this doesn't work, ask a lab assistant for help. If your username is used by someone else, or your last name very long, they might have assigned a different name for you.
Due Dates for labs are given on the Homework page.
