On this one you will want to use the Poisson equation. If you expect
one fire in a ten year period for one reactor, then in a sense you expect
1/2 of a fire for one reactor in a five year period. So, for two reactors
in a five year period, you should expect one fire. Thus, lambda = 1.
So find P(X>=2) = 1 - P(x<2) = 1 - P(X=0) - P(X=1) by using the Poisson
equation.
That's how I did it!
See ya,
Mike
