In response to the defense, I would ask what the likelihood of those 50
possible suspects being in the same vicinity as the crime scene. If we can
assume that the 50 people live independent from one another, then they should
be distibuted out evenly across the country. Therefore, the probability that
even two people with similar DNA fingerprints in the area is very small if the
country is large.
