The quizzes are worth a little less than the homework. Noticeable improvement
on the final is always a good sign and speaks favorably towards giving a
student
the benefit of the doubt in situations in which its not clear what grade
a student should receive. However, its not as good as doing well on the
midterms AND on the final.
