Random numbers

The problem mentions that the numbers the computer generates are "more random"
than other forms of random number generators. If the numbers computers
generate are not random, then can't we assume that some numbers will have a
higher probability of showing up and consequently then some will have a smaller
probability of appearing? If this is true, then we can take several samples
and compute the probabilities of the numbers. If it is truely random, each
number should have the same probability of showing up. Couldn't we use this as
evidence to settle the debate over computer random number generators?

Secondly I don't understand how she can say that a computer produces more
random numbers than say a deck of cards? I would think that cards would be
just as successful as some computer.

What do you think of that?
Mike
