Okay, let's assume that the two events are independent of each other.
>From basic logic, this assumption is feasible because usually it only
takes one bomb to blow up a plane or cause serious damage. So why would
someone want put two bombs on a plane. Or what is the chance that two
terrorists/ crazy people would want to bomb or hijack the same plane.
But since the traveller knows that he is bring a bomb on the plane then
the probability for him that 1 bomb will be on the plane is = 1.
So whether or not another bomb is on a plane has the same probability as
if he did not bring one on the plane. In the Traveller's case, the event
of another bomb therefore is independent.
